JOAN MARTIN, CPA, CVA, CFF, DABFA
Joan Martin is experienced in many areas of accounting as well as litigation. Her litigation experience began in 1990 and includes work in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, business valuation, fraud and forensics, community property disputes and many others. Joan became certified in Public Accounting in 1991. She has been accepted as an expert in state courts in Louisiana and Texas and also federal court. Joan's accounting practice includes corporate and individual tax, management consulting, and accounting systems review and design with controllership by the hour services. Joans objective is to work closely with owners and managers giving them the information, tools and training to make successful business decisions.
Joan received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1989 with a major in accounting. She is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and holds an additional certification from the AICPA in Financial Forensics (CFF). She has been accepted as a Fellow with the American College of Forensic Examiners and holds the status of DABFA, Diplomat with the American Board of Forensic Accounting.
