CHARLES NAQUIN, CPA
Charles started working in public accounting in 2021. Prior to beginning his public accounting career, he spent nearly 14 years as a law enforcement officer working for the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office investigating financial crimes, as well as on the United States Secret Service Financial Crimes Task Force. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2021. He received the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner in 2019 and was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2023. Charles is a member of both the AICPA and Louisiana Society of CPAs.
Charles has extensive experience investigating fraud related matters, performing complex financial investigations for criminal and civil courts, performing asset tracing and assisting in litigation matters such as matrimonial dissolutions, economic damages, and contract disputes. Additionally, he has handled numerous insurance claims for inventory losses and business income interruption claims. He has also provided several continuing education training sessions for bar associations, the Louisiana Society of CPAs and the Mississippi Society of CPAs.
When not working, Charles spends time with his wife and two children, watching LSU sports, and traveling with family.
