Travis has more than 23 years of experience in public accounting focusing on corporate and individual taxation. He joined WMDDH in 1999 from practice in the Washington DC area which included working for both private and public companies. Travis specializes in providing tax planning and tax compliance for closely-held companies and individuals as well as due diligence in depreciation segregation and controllership consulting.

Travis received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1989 with a major in Accounting and minor in English. Travis became certified in Public Accounting in 1990 and is certified to practice in Virginia and Louisiana. He is a member of the AICPA and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. Travis also is QuickBooks Pro Advisor and a regular participant in the Louisiana Tax Conference.

Travis is an avid duck hunter and enjoys spending time in the outdoors. He is a member of Ducks Unlimited and Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana. He and his wife Jan, as well as his four children (Christopher, Emily, Andrew, and Jacob) are strong UL Ragin Cajun fans.
